Tsukumogami
Any house has old tools. Tsukumogami is a Japanese traditional word. This word's meaning is "God of old tools." So, we believe that when you use pen for a long long time, Tsukumogami is in that tool.
Japan has many people who believe in Sintou. Shintou has many gods. They say that the number of gods is eight million. Tsukumogami is one of them. Tsukumogami's history is very old. In Edo Period, Tsukumogami was painted by people. I think Tsukumogami was created by people's mind that "we have to use tool with care." I want to live with Tsukumogami.

Hatsumode
We go to shrine on New year's day and it is called Hatsumode. We hope a lot of things to God. For, example, study, love, health, work and money. There is also Omikuji. Omikuji is a small piece of paper. The year's fortune is written on Omikuji. I hope it'll be a good year every year. Be sure to go Hatsumode on the New Year's day.
