1年生の英語では、パフォーマンステストに臨みました。生徒たちは、やや緊張しながらも、Seon先生に対して自分の名前やニックネーム、部活動や趣味、誕生日などを話題に自己紹介をし、Seon先生からの
・朝食のメニューは
・好きな科目は
・学校で好きなことは
・好きなアニメは
などの即興の英語の質問を集中して聞き取り、自分のことを伝えようと一生懸命に英語で答えていました。

 Seon先生からは、今日の感想とアドバイスをいただきました。

I was happy that I could sit and listen to the first grader students' introduction of themselves in English. Some of them were great and were able to understand the simple questions I asked them while others struggled. I hope that the next group of students will practice more speaking of and listening to English words to improve themselves with the language. They need to be more relaxed when speaking and be more confident in themselves as well.

１年生の自己紹介を英語で聞くことができて嬉しかったです。たいへん素晴らしい発表をしたり、皆が手こずっていた英語の質問の意味を理解することができている生徒もいました。次は、英語が上達するように、もっと話したり、聞いたりする練習をして臨むとよいと思います。また、話すときは、もっとリラックスして、自分自身に自信をもってください。
