Hello Kashima JHS! My name is Sebastian Newall, I’m the new ALT at Kashima JHS. You can call me “Sebastian-Sensei”. I came here from Canada in November of 2021. I was an IT technician at a Canadian university before I became an ALT. In the 2 months before I moved to Minamisoma, I lived in Mishima-machi, Fukushima in the Aizu area with my wife, Lina, who is an ALT there. My hobbies are hiking, camping, and cooking. If you see me around the school, I’ll be happy to practice English with you! I’m excited to meet everyone and help teach English here with the fantastic staff at Kashima JHS.
