Seon先生が興味を持った日本文化は？

先週、３年生は英語の授業の一環として、Seon先生に自分の好きな日本文化についてのプレゼンテーションを行いました。Seon先生がそれらの中から特に興味を持ったものについてコメントを寄せてくださいましたので紹介します。

Japanese Culture - Oshogatsu
The one that I will focus on more is Oshogatsu. This is their New Year's Festival which is celebrated on January 1-3 each year. After visiting the Shrine to pray for happiness, prosperity and wealth, families then go back home to feast on Osechi Ryori, a box consisting of various dishes each with a different meaning. For example, Kuromame (sweet black beans) represents good health and Kamaboko (fish cake) symbolizes purity. There are many more traditions that I could speak on but Oshogatsu is very unique and I like that practice a lot. I am beginning to love the Japanese culture more every day.
