My Summer Vacation

　　　I had a very fun summer vacation this year. For one month, I went to America and travelled around the country.

I was happy to be back home and have many great experiences.

           First, I went to Florida with my family. We spent one week in Disneyworld. While Japan's Disneyland has two

parks, Florida's Disneyworld has four. I rode many roller coasters and ate a lot of delicious food every day. But for me,

the best part of the trip was being with my family every day.

           Next, I went to New York to visit my friends Jamie and Bethany for three days. I explored Manhattan and saw

many famous places like the Empire State Building, Central Park, and the Statue of Liberty. I ate a lot of good food

here, too. But my favorite part was seeing my friends. I hadn't seen them in one year, so I enjoyed talking with them

again.

            Finally, I went back to my home in California. My cousin got married, so my family went to the wedding

ceremony. It was very beautiful. Then I spent two weeks seeing friends in San Jose, playing volleyball and video

games, and spending time with my family. Then it was time to go home to Japan. It was a wonderful trip.

            I had a great time in America this summer vacation. I was able to see many parts of the country and enjoy many

different experiences. Most importantly, I was able to be with my family and friends. To me, that is the best experience

of all.
